Start of Electronic IDF in Elubo 4th August 2008

The Customs Excise and Preventive Service, in consultation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry PSD/PSI (MOTI), announces for the information of the General Public that the Electronic IDF (e-IDF) will go live in Elubo on 4th August 2008.

Collection of IRS Withholding Tax on Imports to Restart 14th July 2008.

Importers will no longer have to visit Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Port Offices for verification of their Tax Clearance Certificate or Payment of 1% Withholding Tax on Imports.
