The system has a number of security features built into it. These include accessing it by means of a log on password and a database accessibility password as well. Both passwords are specified solely by the user. The system ensures that user passwords are changed periodically as a hedge against others finding out the password and using it, if not changed after a while. In view of this, except the system user intentionally reveals his/her password to another person, it would be difficult for another person to make a declaration or access unauthorised fields within the system with the use of a particular password.
It is therefore crucial that users do not disclose their passwords to others or display them recklessly for others to peruse.
In view of other security features built into the system, and the fact that it operates as a private EDI network, it is difficult to hack into it for another person to use another person’s password to make a declaration.
