Ghana Standards Board and Ministry of Trade and Industry to start processing ePermits and eIDFs through new eMDA System on 14th December 2009 - 1 January 2010
GCNet and its 10 partner Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) started a phased implementation of the new eMDA application on 12th October 2009. On Monday 14th December 2009, Ghana Standards Board (GSB) and Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI) will become the 9th and 10th MDA’s respectively to go live on the new system.
All applications for Inspection Report to GSB and electronic Import Declaration Forms (eIDF) to MOTI should therefore be made through the new system starting from Monday 14th December 2009.
All Importers, Exporters and their Agents should also note that no Inspection Company is going to accept any manual IDF for processing starting 14th December 2009.
