GCMS2 Goes Live - 6 April 2009
GCNet and CEPS are pleased to announce that their new Customs System, GCMS2, went live on 6th April 2009. The new system provides CEPS with a cutting edge tool to support their efforts to become a world class customs organisation.
GCMS2 to Go Live 6th April 2009 - 25 March 2009
GCNet and CEPS are currently working together to deploy Ghana Customs Management System 2 (GCMS2) which will replace the current version of GCMS, which was launched in 2003. The intended Go Live date is 6th April 2009.
Electronic Export Permit System Launched - 16 March 2009
The Timber Industry Development Division of the Forestry Commission has launched an electronic export permit for timber and wood products based on the GCNet System.
GCNet Sponsors Senior CEPS officers to train in Australia - 9 February 2009
GCNet has sponsored fifteen senior officers of the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) to undertake a specialised training programme at the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies, University of Canberra, Australia.
